Built the other way round
Jwuma is the contributor platform operated by Corpshore AI. The name comes from the Akan word for work, and it is pronounced joo-ma.
Why it exists
AI systems are trained on data that people prepare, and much of that preparation happens a long way from where the systems are built. The people doing it are often paid late, told little about how their work is judged, and given no route to anything better. The complaint is rarely about the rate. It is that nothing is visible: not the score, not the criteria, not the reason a decision went the way it did.
Jwuma is built the other way round. Rates are shown before a task is accepted. Accuracy is measured on the work itself and shown to the contributor, component by component, with the number of observations behind each part. Promotion follows those measurements. Decisions that affect an account are made by a person and come with a reason.
None of that is generous. It is the minimum that makes the measurements worth trusting, and a score that gates work and pay while being visible only to staff is the standing complaint about every platform in this category.
How it is run
People decide
Applications, rejections and account restrictions are decided by a person. Automation can hold something or flag it for attention. It does not close an account.
Data stays regional
Contributor personal data is held separately by region rather than pooled into a single database, and access is scoped to the people who need it.
Scores are visible
A contributor sees their own score with every component, how many observations it rests on, and what each part is weighted at.
No behavioural scoring
Nothing is inferred from when somebody is online or how long they idle. A score combines performance on work, and nothing else.
Small samples are not used
A score is not published until there is enough reviewed work behind it. A number from four tasks is not a measurement, and treating it as one punishes people for starting.
No fees, ever
Joining is free. There is no charge for training, no charge for equipment and no deposit, in any country, at any stage.
Where the work leads
A route upward that is written down before somebody applies, rather than discovered later or not at all.
